Cheon Earns July's Top Batter Prize in AC Sunday, August 1st , 2083 Ju-ho Cheon has a lot going for him. The Tampico third baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the Alpha Conference has just picked him as its top hitter for July. In 25 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .357 with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This season, Cheon has delivered 108 hits in 343 at-bats for a .315 average with 15 home runs. He is getting on base at a .471 clip and his totals also include 73 RBIs and 74 runs scored. This year Cheon has played in 96 games. |
