Mendez Goes on Rampage Against Blues Monday, July 27th , 2076 Tony Mendez was unstoppable, but the Montgomery Counts were not. Despite his hitting heroics at Counts Ballpark today, the Counts lost 6-4 to the Binghamton Blues. Mendez battered Binghamton for 5 hits in 8 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Mendez just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits." Tony Mendez singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th, struck out in the 12th and grounded out in the 15th.
