Injury Sidelines Emilio García For Year Monday, July 20th , 2076 A blow for Emilio García today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 11 months with a damaged elbow ligament. García suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Lexington Partisans are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about García's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year García has notched no saves. He has 95 strikeouts and 63 walks in 110.2 innings while registering a 3.98 ERA and a 5-7 won-lost record. |
