Season Over for Yoandy Columbie in Fremont
Monday, July 4th , 2078
Fremont starting pitcher Yoandy Columbie could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn rotator cuff. He exited yesterday's Pawtucket game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Columbie would be out 11-12 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."
