Sudbury's Powell BC Top Pitcher Friday, July 1st , 2078 Clement Powell had an outstanding June -- so good that the Beta Conference presented him with the Pitcher of the Month Award earlier today. "There's no way to know where the Astronauts would be without Powell," one fan is quoted as saying. In June Powell dominated the competition, running up a 4-0 record, a 1.04 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 34.2 innings. Powell has a 8-3 season record so far. In 14 starts, he has fanned 113 batters in 99 innings with a 1.91 ERA. |
