Ricardo Mujica Sidelined for Season Tuesday, July 9th , 2080 The season is finished for Ricardo Mujica of the Marfa Lights. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Lights center fielder suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Edmonton Trappers. Team doctors said it would take at least 9-10 months to heal. This year, Mujica is batting .261 with no home runs. |
