Rees Beta Conference's Hottest Hitter Monday, June 20th , 2078 Paul Rees is respected by most Newport News Herons fans for his no-frills style of play. The 21-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Beta Conference Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .414 average (12-for-29) with 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Rees currently has a .336 batting average with 81 hits, 10 homers, 26 RBIs, 33 runs scored and a .392 OBP. |
