Fox Pitches 7-0 Shutout Saturday, June 20th , 2076 Kevin Fox dominated the Anchorage Longbows with a brilliant 1-hit shutout in a Eagle Mountain Scavengers 7-0 triumph at Scavengers Ballpark. The Eagle Mountain hurler fanned 13 and walked 3 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager. "He really kept us in check today," Longbows skipper said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings." For the season Fox is 6-and-6 with no saves and a 3.16 ERA. He has given up 67 hits in 94 innings with 74 strikeouts. View Boxscore |
