Allomes Honored by Beta Conference Monday, May 23rd , 2078 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Sault Ste. Marie right fielder Damon Allomes. He went on a rampage last week against BC hurlers and rapped out 12 hits in 24 at-bats for a .500 average while hitting 2 home runs, driving in 6 runs and scoring 3 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Beta Conference Player of the Week trophy. Allomes was honored today at a press conference. This year, Allomes is batting .291 with 3 home runs and 15 RBIs. |
