Saints McClure to Miss Year Monday, April 29th , 2080 The Saint Paul Saints learned that Mike McClure is likely to be out for 8-9 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Clyde Hill Cyclones. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a fractured elbow. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Saint Paul manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Mike is back in action." |
