Bulldogs Leombruno Dominates Scavengers Friday, August 4th , 2079 In a remarkable performance, Rockford Bulldogs starter Paul Leombruno beat the Eagle Mountain Scavengers, 1-0, in an impressive 3-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Bulldogs hurler finished with 9 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Eagle Mountain manager said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
