Injury Sidelines Fernando Santiago for Season
Monday, July 26th , 2083
Fernando Santiago will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Reno reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Santiago was injured while throwing a pitch in the Mountaineers-Saints clash at Ballpark of Saint Paul recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 12 months.
To this point in the season he has had 1 save. Santiago has made 17 relief appearances, tossed 27.2 innings and struck out 31 with a record of no wins and 1 loss.
