Aurora's Needham to Miss Season Sunday, July 25th , 2083 When Devon Needham was hurt against the Binghamton Blues, the Aurora Reds were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 20-year-old starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Needham would miss 14 months of the season. This year, Needham has gone 1-0 with an ERA of 2.12 and has 19 strikeouts in 17 innings. |
