Jackalopes Lynch Injured Sunday, July 30th , 2079 Playoff hopes of Jackalopes player Mark Lynch have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered a stretched elbow ligament throwing a pitch in today's game against Oceanside Barnstormers. Lynch is expected to miss up to 9-10 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. So far in 19 appearances this season, Lynch has recorded 3 wins and sustained no losses. He has pitched 29.1 innings, yielded 18 hits, fanned 42 and has a 3.07 ERA. |
