Lamoine's Roberts to Miss 9 Months Tuesday, July 25th , 2079 Jonathan Roberts has to call it a season. The Lamoine Shockwave starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Marfa Lights and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Roberts was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a stretched elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9 months. Roberts has gone 0-2 this season with an ERA of 1.71 and 30 strikeouts in 21 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .250 against him. |
