Leombruno Fires Shutout in Rockford Victory Monday, July 24th , 2079 Rockford Bulldogs hurler Paul Leombruno was at his best as he beat the Fremont Leeches, 2-0. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Fremont manager . "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Leombruno, who is tied for 7th in the AC with a 10.7 K/9 rate, fired a 1-hitter and totaled 12 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout performance.
