Malhado Hits 3 Homers Against Salton City Saturday, July 15th , 2079 Whatever Edgar Malhado ate for breakfast before his game against the Salton City Naturals, it gave him some impressive power. The Henderson left fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Naturals Stadium. His home run barrage helped the Terrors defeat the Naturals, 11-3. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-3, scored 4 times, drove in 5 and put on a display that history will remember. Edgar Malhado was hit by a pitch in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Heath Wood in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Travis Darling in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Henry Costello in the 8th. Thus far this year, Malhado is hitting .298 with 18 home runs, 46 RBIs and 39 runs scored. |
