Sault Ste. Marie Starting Pitcher Hurt Wednesday, July 12th , 2079 The season is apparently over for Jose Garay. The Sault Ste. Marie Dukes medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 13 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Garay was hurt in the game against Sudbury while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year, Garay has compiled a 1-0 record with a 5.91 ERA. |
