Barnstormers Bursey Named AC's Best Pitcher Thursday, July 1st , 2083 When Mark Bursey takes the mound, a Oceanside victory is usually the result. At least that's the way it was in June. He excelled with a 5-0 mark and a 2.04 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 39.2 innings, fanned 34 and held opposing batters to a .189 average. That's why the Barnstormers starter was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Alpha Conference. For the year, Bursey has compiled a 8-5 record with a 3.68 ERA. |
