Week's Premier Player: Oceanside's Ruzicka Monday, June 26th , 2079 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Oceanside second baseman Jeremy Ruzicka. He went on a rampage last week against AC hurlers and rapped out 11 hits in 24 at-bats for a .458 average while hitting 3 home runs, driving in 6 runs and scoring 8 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Alpha Conference Player of the Week trophy. Ruzicka was honored today at a press conference. Ruzicka is hitting .323 so far this season with 33 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 81 hits including 12 home runs, 18 walks and .373 OBP. |
