Hit Parade: Cavazos Gets Cycle Thursday, June 17th , 2083 Sudbury Astronauts first baseman Carlos Cavazos hit for the cycle, but his club still went home with their heads hung low. The Astronauts were upended, 14-5, by the Edmonton Trappers, despite the big 4-for-5 day from Cavazos "It was a good game for me," Cavazos said later. "I wish it could have been a good game for all of us." The Astronauts first baseman sparked the offense with a truly special performance, hitting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to add his name to the record books. Cavazos also finished with 1 run scored and 2 RBI. Carlos Cavazos hit an RBI triple in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Nate Inman in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
