High Batters Oceanside Big Time Friday, June 4th , 2083 There was no storybook ending. Trevor High of the Eagle Mountain Scavengers socked it to the visiting Oceanside Barnstormers with a terrific 5-hit game, but his team didn't get the win. The Scavengers fell, 4-3, at Scavengers Ballpark. "I don't want to sound ungrateful, but something is missing here," High complained following the loss. "When you have a great game you should win the game, too." He definitely had an unforgettable day in the batter's box, ripping out 5 hits in 7 at-bats. Eagle Mountain manager sympathized with his shortstop, telling BNN reporters after the game that "Trevor played a whale of a game, but sometimes individual brilliance is not enough." Trevor High hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, flied out in the 11th, grounded out in the 13th and singled in the 16th.
