BC Honors Honolulu First Baseman Monday, June 5th , 2079 Manny Melecio stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the Beta Conference Player of the Week honors. The Honolulu first baseman ripped opposing pitchers for 7 hits in 21 at-bats and 6 home runs. He put together a sizzling .333 batting average as he knocked in 8 runs and scored 7 times. In 32 games this season, Melecio has compiled a .233 batting average with 20 hits and 7 home runs. He has also scored 13 times and knocked in 13 runs. |
