Ishibashi 5-for-6 for Counts Friday, June 2nd , 2079 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Yukihito Ishibashi -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Barnstormers Ballpark and paced the 15-8 Counts win over the Oceanside Barnstormers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Montgomery catcher told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Yukihito Ishibashi hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
