Alpha Conference #1 Pitcher Named Thursday, September 8th, 2067 The Alpha Conference has heralded Kichizo Masuda of the Eagle Mountain Scavengers as the #1 man on the mound for the 2067 campaign. This year's Outstanding Pitcher Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 15-4 record, holding opposing hitters to a .216 batting average and posting a 1.98 ERA. The 28-year-old hurler tossed 159 innings, gave up 129 hits, fanned 135 and issued 41 walks. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. John Cantlon of the Tulsa Metalheads finished second in voting, while John Goeman of the Oceanside Barnstormers finished third.
