Year Ends for Yaichiro Tanaka in Marfa
Friday, July 16th, 2066
Marfa starting pitcher Yaichiro Tanaka could miss the remainder of the season because of radial nerve compression. He exited yesterday's Honolulu game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Tanaka would be out 6-7 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."
