Best BC Reliever Named Saturday, September 21st , 2080 He's a veteran presence in the Calgary Cannons bullpen and now Manny Ochoa can say he's a 2080 award winner. The bullpen ace was today named the Beta Conference Reliever of the Year Award winner. "When you're 34 years old, your main objective is to just stay healthy and stay productive. I guess I did that this year," he said. The award was won on the strength of a season that featured 30 saves in 40 relief appearances, with 78 strikeouts in 72.2 innings and a record of 7-3 to go with his 1.86 ERA. He received 24 first place votes out of a possible 30. Zee-loo Kim of the Santa Ana Broncs finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Dustin Kerley of the Huntington Beach Drummers finished third.
