Santa Ana RP Penate Will Miss 9-10 Months Friday, August 21st , 2076 The Santa Ana Broncs will be minus Misael Penate for about 9-10 months after the reliever suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Jersey City Sea Serpents. Penate and Broncs skipper had been hoping the post-game examination would show less damage than originally thought. Penate has made 13 relief appearances this year and notched 5 saves. To date in 20 innings he has a 0-1 record, 1.80 ERA with 14 strikeouts and 8 walks. |
