AC Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Tuesday, September 19th , 2079 At the young age of only 24, Garrett Gutierrez has been named the Alpha Conference Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2079. The future appears bright for the Fremont Roadsters relief ace, who captured the award with 12 saves in 51 relief appearances, 39 strikeouts in 51.2 innings and a record of 9-1 to go with his 2.09 ERA. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 30. Matt Steffes of the Baton Rouge Kings finished second in voting with 11 first place votes, while Chris Lambert of the Norfolk Thorns finished third.
