Tercero of Chugiak-Eagle River BC Batter of the Month Wednesday, September 1st , 2083 When Frankie Tercero stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Beta Conference Batter of the Month award. The young Chugiak-Eagle River first baseman posted a .348 batting average with 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 18 runs. Tercero also worked pitchers for 11 walks to post a .423 on-base percentage. So far this season, Tercero is hitting .321 with 12 home runs, 33 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 61 hits in 190 at-bats and a .390 OBP. |
