San Antonio Eliminated from Playoff Contention Friday, August 27th , 2083 The San Antonio Texicans players and coaches held a closed-door meeting today after the club was eliminated from postseason contention. "We just wanted to talk about the season and where we are right now and how we get to our ultimate goal," said a dejected Kevin Adkins. "We don't want to have this feeling next season." Before this season, the Texicans had made the playoffs 2 times in a row. In the 94 years they have been a RSL Triple A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 78 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Texicans have made the playoffs 3 times. San Antonio has won the League Championship 8 times in their history. |
