Chesapeake's Binder Gets BC Player of the Week Monday, August 23rd , 2083 Pitchers who faced the Chesapeake Rams last week were happy to see John Binder in the rear-view mirror. The 27-year-old left fielder was dubbed the Beta Conference Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .542 clip. For the week he also chalked up 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Binder is currently hitting at a .439 pace with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. |
