Boomers Suffer 16-0 Drubbing from Rams Sunday, August 22nd , 2083 The bats were ice cold for the Hialeah Boomers at Hialeah Grounds. Chesapeake Rams starter Jesse Collins kept the Boomers cold all day, shutting them out, 16-0. In a fine outing, the 31-year-old hurler allowed 3 hits while striking out 9 and walking 1. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Collins admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves."
