Cordova Hurls Shutout Wednesday, August 18th , 2083 Calgary hurler Miguel Cordova put on quite a show, as he blitzed the San Bernadino Sun Devils with a 5-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 4 strikeouts and no walks to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," San Bernadino manager told reporters after the game. Thus far this season, Cordova has compiled a 6-2 record, made 22 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 81.2 innings and striking out 68.
