Leal Cops BC Batter of the Month Honors Friday, September 1st , 2079 At only 23 years of age, Cedric Leal could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Garland Pigeons, as August was one to remember for the designated hitter and he has captured the Beta Conference Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .340 with 12 home runs, 29 RBIs and 16 runs scored. So far this season, Leal is hitting .296 with 42 home runs, 115 RBIs and 82 runs scored. He has 161 hits in 544 at-bats and a .347 OBP. |
