Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks Clinch First in Beta Conference Friday, August 25th , 2079 Fans of the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks have a lot to get excited about, as the club has captured the Beta Conference crown. It's the 10th time in franchise history that the club has finished atop the standings and they now have an opportunity to capture the franchise's 6th RSL Triple A championship. The team manager said there's "a lot of excitement" in Chugiak-Eagle River over the club right now and they hope to live up to expectations. For his part, catcher Brian Lynch said the division championship is "just a start" for his team. "We want to go all the way, win the League Championship," he said. "Winning the division - we could get used to this." |
