Traders Lose Kim for 11-12 Months
Thursday, August 12th , 2083
It took the Lincoln team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Chae-pong Kim won't simply play through a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Chinooks-Traders game. At first, it looked like Kim might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 11-12 months.
Over the season Kim has thrown 127.1 innings and dished out 127 strikeouts with a 6-8 mark and a 5.09 ERA.
