No Playoff Berth Coming for Oxnard Thursday, August 24th , 2079 Tadeu Carneira said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Oxnard Tigercats after they missed the RSL Triple A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Tigercats have missed the playoffs 33 times in their 35 years as a RSL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2076. In the last 10 seasons, the Tigercats have only made the playoffs once. Oxnard last won the League Championship in 2076. |
