No Late-Season Magic Coming: Santa Ana Out of Playoffs Thursday, August 24th , 2079 It's a better-luck-next-year situation for the Santa Ana Broncs, as the club today became mathematically eliminated from postseason consideration. Team manager said, "It's always a letdown" to miss the playoffs, but added that the club's effort was appreciated. Santa Ana last appeared in the postseason in 2070. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 73 times in their 90-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Broncs have made the playoffs 2 times. Santa Ana has won the League Championship 8 times in their history. |
