Castillo Wins BC Top Pitcher Award Sunday, August 1st , 2077 There was little doubt around the Beta Conference that Sean Castillo would be awarded Pitcher of the Month honors for July. Today, they made it official, naming the 25-year-old Jersey City Sea Serpents starter the latest honoree. He thoroughly dominated the hitters who stood in against him, holding them to a .197 batting average while fashioning a 0.51 ERA in 6 starts. His record for the month was 5-0 in 35.1 innings of work. On the season Castillo has a 12-3 record with a 3.63 ERA. |
