Super Month Nets Maitland #1 Batter Prize in AC Sunday, August 1st , 2077 At only 23 years of age, David Maitland could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Wichita Riversharks, as July was one to remember for the right fielder and he has captured the Alpha Conference Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .357 with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and 23 runs scored. This year Maitland is hitting .293, produced 48 RBIs and 11 home runs, scored 60 times and gotten on base at a .372 rate. |
