Anchorage's Thorley to Miss Season Sunday, August 13th , 2079 Anchorage second baseman Vince Thorley left today's game with a broken bone in the elbow. The injury looked like it occurred running the bases in the game against Rochester. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Homesteads without Thorley for about 4 months. Thorley is hitting .185 so far this season with 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 23 hits including no home runs, 8 walks and .244 OBP. |
