Chula Vista Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, July 27th , 2076 After a tough year, the Chula Vista Ghouls have been the butt of jokes around many water coolers in the Chula Vista area. There will be some new fodder for jaded fans to discuss now -- the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Chula Vista last appeared in the postseason in 2010. This is their 66th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 79 times in their 87 - year history. Chula Vista last won the League Championship in 2009. |
