Blues Witmer July's Top Hurler Thursday, August 1st , 2080 Jimmy Witmer is the latest Alpha Conference Pitcher of the Month award winner. The Joliet starter stood out on the hill time and again last month and finished July with a sparkling 3-0 record. In 4 starts last month, he fanned 26, walked 12 in 28.1 innings and posted a 1.27 ERA. Witmer held opposing teams to a .138 batting average when he was on the mound.
