Pickets Buried - Out of Playoffs Wednesday, July 31st , 2080 The Akron Pickets will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2080 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Akron was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 35th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2045. In total, the Pickets have missed the playoffs 84 times in their 91-year history. Akron last won the League Championship in 2045. |
