Injury Sidelines Carlos Angon for Season Friday, July 24th , 2076 Carlos Angon of the Drummers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Huntington Beach reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Calgary Cannons recently at Calgary Center. Angon suffered a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch. The Drummers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. Taking a look at this year, Carlos Angon has made 10 relief appearances, recorded 3 saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 2.25 ERA. In pitching 12 innings, he has totaled 10 strikeouts and 8 walks. |
