Super Week for Arlington's Zermeno! Monday, July 29th , 2080 It was a fantastic week for Arlington center fielder Juan Zermeno and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Beta Conference Player of the Week Award. Last week Zermeno hammered the ball at a torrid .444 pace, going 12-for-27 with 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Thus far this season in 43 games, Zermeno is batting .287 with 13 home runs, 25 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 43 hits in 150 at-bats. |
