Season Possibly Over for Danny Garcia Thursday, July 16th , 2076 The doctors have spoken and Danny Garcia of the Chula Vista Ghouls didn't like what he heard. The 31-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Garcia sustained his season-ending injury during the Anaheim Rage game yesterday at Field of the Ghouls. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Chula Vista medical staff reported Garcia had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months. This year Garcia has compiled a 4-11 record with a 8.73 ERA. |
