Star of the Week Honored in AC Monday, July 11th , 2078 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Anaheim first baseman Rex Rawnsley. He went on a rampage last week against AC hurlers and rapped out 9 hits in 17 at-bats for a .529 average while hitting 3 home runs, driving in 8 runs and scoring 4 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Alpha Conference Player of the Week trophy. Rawnsley was honored today at a press conference. Rawnsley is batting at a .290 pace this season, picking up 72 hits in 248 at-bats with 8 home runs, 39 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
