Maruyama Wins AC Player of the Week Prize Monday, July 15th , 2080 It was a fantastic week for Norfolk right fielder Chuugo Maruyama and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Alpha Conference Player of the Week Award. Last week Maruyama hammered the ball at a torrid .450 pace, going 9-for-20 with 4 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Posting a .254 batting average to date, Maruyama has 20 home runs and 44 RBIs. |
